At PLR Transport, safety is our top priority. We maintain a strict set of safety standards that exceed Department of Transportation Physical (DOT) regulations to safeguard our drivers, equipment, and community.
- Driver Training
We require all of our drivers to complete a comprehensive training program. This program covers topics such as defensive driving, hours of service (HOS), and load securement.
- Testing
Our drivers are required to pass a DOT Pre-Employment Drug Test and Road Safety Test.
- Equipment Maintenance
We perform regular maintenance on our trucks and trailers to ensure they are in safe working condition. We constantly inspect and repair chassis for all tires, lights, grease, and other features.
- Safety Audits
We conduct regular safety audits of our drivers and trucks to ensure they are complying with our safety standards.
All of our trucks are equipped with GPS tracking devices so we can monitor their location and speed at all times.
