- FOR DRIVERS
First, you’ll submit an online application. We will review your application and contact you to schedule an interview. If you are selected for an interview, we will ask you to come to our office and meet with one of our driver managers. After the interview, we will conduct a background check and drug test. If everything checks out, we will offer you a position with PLR Transport.
You must be:
- At least 23 years old
- Have at least 2 years of driving experience
- Have a current TWIC Card
- Have a valid Class A CDL
You must also have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
Our drivers typically work between 50 and 60 hours per week. However, we offer flexible home time options so our drivers can spend time with their families and loved ones.
In addition to the basic requirements, we look for candidates with excellent communication skills, professional attitudes, critical thinking skills, and a passion for providing exemplary customer service.
To be completely transparent, the most stressful aspect of the job is the requirement to meet strict deadlines so we can provide the best service to our clients. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our drivers are on the road around the clock to ensure your shipment arrives on time.
All our trucks are equipped with Samsara GPS tracking devices so we can provide live updates on shipments. This allows us to provide our customers with real-time updates on the status of their shipments, including live tracking with a map of each location.
We know that reliable equipment is critical for successful deliveries. We maintain our equipment to ensure it is 100% ready to go before it hits the road.
Additionally, we maintain a strict safety policy. We require all drivers to complete a comprehensive training program and undergo regular safety audits. You can rely on PLR to transport shipments quickly while keeping the safety of our community in mind.
